We have tried a lot of their coffees too. We are looking forward to trying some other decafs. We really like their Evangeline Blend and French Quarter Fusion.

Hey Mike:
I still have the original paperback book I read when I was a kid. I have the movie on vhs tape, it is a little different than the book, but still fun to watch.
I think most men when they were boys wanted to be able to explore and survive the wilderness. To feel the adventure and excitement. It is probably why I like watching some of those survival shows on Discovery.

I loved the book My Side Of The Mountain growing up. I think I read it at least twice and tried to build something so that I could live in the woods behind myself. I’ll have to check out that movie soon.

Hey Jason, thanks for stopping by and for the encouraging words. I’m sure you know that coffee tastes good whether you drink it alone or with someone. It just seems to be a lot more fun when you get a group together and share the coffee and conversation!
We have some more coffee parties planned and we are looking forward to them.

This is awesome. Way to take advantage of an opportunity to spread knowledge. I love how you said,

“None of the people at the picnic own or use a grinder or French Press. They usually buy coffee that is on sale in the grocery store. That has changed now.”

That is really the crux of the matter. My favorite stories are ones where average coffee drinkers gain knowledge and are ‘converted’. Have a great morning Bill. c(_) cheers!

I’d send you some, but it’s all gone! The freinds we shared it with liked it and we like it. It is one of those coffees that is gone before you know it. Maybe one day we will be able to brew and drink some coffee together and talk.
