Men You Should Know
George Mueller: a man of faith. He would read the Bible daily (at times on his knees). He would pray God’s promises back to Him and watch for the answer. From what I have read about him, he truly was a man of God and of faith.
Jacob Young: a Methodist circuit riding preacher in the early 1800’s. His autobiography is one of the best books I have read in years. It was very encouraging. I was humbled as I read about men that sacrificed so much to preach the Word.
A. B. Simpson: founder of The Christian and Missionary Alliance. The believer’s need for personal sanctification, the deeper life and the importance of missions were just some of the things he taught the Church. He also taught about Jesus Christ as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer and Coming King.
