Most of us know this as a children’s song, but check out the second and third verses. Make sure you teach children those verses as well as the first verse and the refrain. I was surprised when we read this during our devotional time. Hope you are blessed and encouraged as we were.

Much GRACE and peace to you,

Bill (a fellow-laborer)

Romans 15:13; Isaiah 54:13

Jesus Loves Me

By Anna B. Warner (1820-1915)

1.      Jesus loves me! this I know, For the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong; they are weak but He is strong.

(Refrain) Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. The Bible tells me so.

 2.      Jesus loves me! He who died Heaven’s gates to open wide. He will wash away my sin, Let His little child come in.

(Refrain)

3.      Jesus loves me! He will stay Close beside me all the way; Thou hast bled and died for me; I will henceforth live for Thee.

(Refrain)
